A NIGHT AT THE 45TH ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS

Last night, Freddie and I attended The 45th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. Freddie's show, "Days of Our Lives", was up for many nominations & we were excited to show our support!

Mario Lopez and Sheryl Underwood hosted the award show. They both brought unbeatable energy to the room and returned delight to all in attendance. 

We watched in awe as "Days of Our Lives" took home the trophy for Outstanding Lead Actor, Supporting Actor, Directing and Writing. With this momentum, we were facing the very last award: Outstanding Drama Series.

As the presenter for Outstanding Drama Series took the stage, you could feel the nerves of the room. Every show nominated was on the edge of their seats. This was such a pivotal award about to be announced. So many dedicated teams and soap families had worked crazy hard the past year all leading up to this moment.

"And the Emmy goes to..." all of our hearts were pounding, holding our breaths, on the edge of our seats. "DAYS OF OUR LIVES"! The room roared with excitement, bouncing cheers and hoorays off of the walls. Everyone jumped out of their seats and began hugging and congratulating one another. This moment was so extraordinary and one I will never forget.

As the cast and crew filed up to the stage, you could feel the euphoria and pride in the room. THIS is what coming together as a family looks like. Bringing all of these diverse individuals onto a team, working tirelessly to bring captivating stories to a fiercely loyal audience is what it is all about. I am so proud of this entire production and felt honored to have shared such a joyful moment with these remarkable people.

Lately, I have been DYING to do an old Hollywood glam look. When I found this dress, I knew this was the event to do it. I found this Badgley Mischka stunner and couldn't wait to put the look together. 

To keep with the old Hollywood glam vibe, I paired my favorite black suede heels, a colorful clutch and statement earrings to bring the entire look together. I also had my hair styled in a very subtle, old Hollywood way and did gold eye makeup with a bold red lip & nails.
