Y’all! We are here, we made it - we are officially in Florida! On today’s vlog, we take you on a home tour of our Airbnb house in Kissimmee, Florida!

A few months ago, my Mom called me with some fascinating news; in partnership with Calyx Concierge, she was invited to showcase her artwork in Manhattan! My Mom, Vallerie, is a custom mandala artist and makes the most breathtaking pieces. We were very excited and my Mom asked me if I would come and handle the business end so she could focus on creating - I was in! A mother-daughter trip to NYC?? Pinch me now!

A few months ago, I was editing some photos in Lightroom when a notification went off on my desktop. The alert New Message popped up. I clicked on it and was greeted with a lovely note from an old acquaintance of mine, the fabulous and bright Vivian Kwarm. It read:

I'll never forget one early morning in March when I woke up to numerous missed calls and text messages from my sister and mom. The first thought in my head was, "Oh my gosh, is everything okay?" - And then I had this feeling take over me. It started as butterflies in my stomach and transitioned into a still calmness that traveled like lightning from my head to my toes. It was a gut feeling and I knew exactly what my sister was about to tell me; she was pregnant!

On June 1st, 2017, at 4:08p Freddie, myself along with our friends, Mike & Ariane, landed at LAX after 24 hours of traveling from Koh Samui, Thailand back to the States. It was quite the journey but I was ecstatic to be back as a project I was producing was going into production on June 3rd. We had four days to shoot 17 pages - piece of cake, right? LOL.

July 21st, 2018. The BEST day of my life to date. 

Let's rewind, shall we? Earlier this month, Freddie and I visited Ohio to visit his family. While we were on this trip, I remember finishing up a shoot for Dunkin' Donuts and coming inside to look through the images. As we all sat down in the living room, I started scrolling through the photos when a notification on my phone went off. I opened up my e-mail and saw a message from Beau Beasley regarding "YoungArts Foundation Photoshoot." 

If you've been following Freddie’s and my journey, you probably know that we aren't *technically* engaged just yet. Yes, we went ring shopping together but the proposal reveal is something that will be happening in the very near future! I am so dang curious how he is going to do it. We tell each other everything and this has been killing us! Lol - However, when we were visiting his hometown this past week, his parents introduced me to everyone as his fiancé and I just adored the way it sounded so here I am, titling my blog with fiancé instead of boyfriend! Yolo.
